About

I grew up in Kanturk, north Cork, and have lived in London and Japan. I am now living in Miltown Malbay, County Clare, where I run my counselling practice. I work both online and face-to-face.

I received a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy, from MTU, in 2019. This study gave me a solid grounding in CBT, Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, and trauma-focused therapy, and since graduating, I have expanded my knowledge of Existential Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. I also work as a visiting lecturer in MTU focusing on the history and application of psychoanalytical theories.

I am a pre-accredited member of the Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (I.A.C.P) and work according to its code of ethics. In my spare time I read, watch movies, play the banjo, listen to podcasts, and go for long walks in the countryside.
